Love it. My uncle bought it for me when I went to college (I know, one of the nicest gifts I’ve ever gotten) and I’ve worn it since. Love it, still wear it often because it’s my only brown leather band and because I love the record dial face with the red seconds tip. Part of the reason I left the black dial grand seiko on the metal strap is because I didn’t want to cut into this watches wrist time. I like to get really different stuff so I wear them all.
It’s a special edition for Thailand, a collab with Preduce skateboards. The colors are actually part of a God’s face; when you press the backlight you see the rest of the face. My wife picked it up for me when she was visiting family there last year. Love it!
I have my Dad’s 80s two tone Seiko day date that I’ve worn through most special occasions of my life. I recently found a pic of him holding me as a baby while wearing the watch. I wore it to graduations, funerals, and my own wedding. If that piece went missing I’d be much more upset than if I lost my Grand Seikos, which cost probably dozens of times more money. After the seiko he bought a two tone rolex he wore for decades that was given to my little brother at my urging since he never wore it anymore (he’s now an apple watch guy). Honestly? I prefer the seiko because I know he wore it when I was born.

I love a quartz timex. First watch. Still own one. Love the backlighting that lights up the entire face.
Most baller would be a speedmaster, but that’s too expensive. I’d consider some other space watch to be on theme!
