When is it time to have a serious discussion about put fining refs? I understand the human error aspect of being asked to make tough calls in a high-stress situation, but calls like this are beyond egregious
I’m not saying this is the case because I personally don’t believe it is, but I would not blame anybody for accusing this ref of trying to fix this game for financial gain on his behalf
Embiid and Jokic
Do I think Jokic is better? ABSOLUTELY! Not a doubt in my mind
But people act like Embiid is a scrub and that’s just not true. And I get it, the guy came up short in the playoffs, he flops, and he can come across pretty unlikable at times, but none of that changed the fact that he’s an elite player in this league

It’s absolutely a flop, and a disgusting one at that. But it’s still a foul
It’s like if you punch me in the face and I then admit myself to the hospital and wear a full body cast with the intent of getting you in trouble. I’m obviously embellishing, BUT you still did assault me
