I agree, and it is so difficult to find flavourful decafs with a bright, light roast profile.

There’s a lot to unpack in this issue, but it frustrates me that there has been such effective opposition to providing wiring and circuits to support possible future electric appliances and EVs. I can argue for either side of restricting gas appliances, but as the article notes the electrical upgrades would be trivial additions to the cost of new construction or significant costs if added later. If you choose not to use the 240V circuit for a range, dryer, water heater, or EV charger… just don’t use it and it doesn’t hurt you
Really enjoyable article, thanks! I love Rosecrans Baldwin.
I didn’t know that so much of Barcelona’s water was desalinated. Valencia’s rice production especially, but all of l’Horta will suffer with this.
Oh I could go for a 5 gallon keg of seltzer that stays carbonated… how difficult is this to set up?
It would shed rain off the low end? Can you use a gutter and downspout?
Any reason the high side of the shed roof can’t intercept the existing garage roof further up the pitch? Then you could use open web trusses which although deeper are lighter and potentially cheaper than a wide flange. Attaching them higher also gives you more clear height with a longer span.
Remote work really helps, physically placing myself in an office space I control without interruptions from coworkers. It makes breaks easier too and helps refocus ir change gears.
It’s also helpful to block time on my calendar for lunch each day so I not only don’t get booked during that time but get the reminder pop up to stop what I’m doing.
Then they need to make energy credits and rebates available to more than just the lowest-income residents. Right now in California many homeowners are ineligible for these programs due to the income that enables them to own in the first place.
jDownloader might do this automatically if given the video url.
I dislike coins too, but mostly because a dollar is the smallest useful denomination and anything below is rounding. In a 1900 era world where you could buy something material for a nickel or dime, it was worthwhile to use those coins.
If I can ask a noob question in this highly philosophical and technical thread— what’s your intended client experience for Beehaw? I’m using Voyager on iOS and will be sad to lose it if Beehaw migrates (or even doesn’t migrate to v19), though there may be a similar client for one of the other platforms under consideration.
Surely y’all aren’t all using a web front end, right? It seems there may be value in choosing a platform that has community support for clients as well as mod tools.
