The key question is not simply how many jobs AI has replaced so far, but how rapidly its capabilities are expanding and how many occupations will be affected. Time to start seriously planning to implement a national guaranteed income program funded by business.

BC just stepped into the void. But anyway . . . the new premier looks pretty sturdy. Right?
It’s a hold over from days when restaurant service staff were paid a lower than normal wage and customers were expected to supplement their earnings with a tip. Wage laws have changed and they now earn as much as any other service worker. So no reason to tip for simply moving a plate from the kitchen to your table. This will cover 90% of what they do.
