The Kazon were poorly-designed antagonists; there was nothing compelling about them, either politically or aesthetically. I love Voyager, but it’s a real slog getting through Kazon space.

You’re welcome, I guess? Best of luck to you, sincerely. I really hope that Raiders of the Lost Ark villain you’ve got up there never gets his clammy little hands on the levers of power. It’s mind-boggling how little charisma these grifters have. Really makes me question its value as a stat.

Not just because I disliked the gameplay, but because its inexplicable popularity heralded a shift in the adventure game market. Instead of more Sierra or LucasArts-type games, there were, for years, scads of shitty, boring Myst-likes.

They did add him to the ride in 2006, but he was created for the movie in 2003.

'tisn’t the least bit funny.
This is a fucking ad.

It’s the simplified dialogue that ultimately robs it of any meaning for me. Nobody has anything very interesting to say, and the player just has a few one-word prompts to respond with. I don’t suppose that’s any different in Fallout: London? I imagine they’d have had to go to unreasonable lengths to change it.

I mean, occasionally they do. Always popping up where you least expect (or want) them, in my experience.

I think it didn’t help that I played the sequel first. It’s just really damned dated. Some older games age really well, but NWN did not.
That’s interesting. I’m no spaceologist, but I wonder if that’s consistent with our observations of the universe. My cursory searches lead me to believe that there’s just a boatload of ice out there. I’ll have to rewatch Voyager at some point, and see what the technobabble explanation is.
