I don’t know of any extension that DENY cookies for firefox but it’s built into #duckduckgo
I like Firefox, Cromite as well as Duckduckgo.
I find it odd that so many people using them, are running graphene.
Why’s that? Is something bugging you? I might want to use it once they support Android Auto.
What proprietary features are you missing in GrapheneOS?
Pixel 4a (5g) with stock android.
I tried CalyxOS but as that doesn’t support android auto (I get the why but really need it for navigation). Therefore I switched to LineageOS but my banking app didn’t work there (or rather I needed to configure the OS every time I made an update so that the banking app doesn’t detect my device as rooted) so I switched all the way back to stock.
Now that GrapheneOS sent this toot yesterday, I’m waiting for them to support Android Auto and hope that my banking app also works there :)
It does work just fine :)
Imagine you would need to pay for your right to protest or free speech as an example. This is brutal.
You didn’t notice speed differences cause you didnt use 5g without a VPN or fiber but for the average internet user 50Mbit/s are enough anyways probably
For me Molly works but one can’t use Signal betas (obviously) and backups are currupted for me for months.
This question is cringe
The privacy policy doesn’t matter if no data is saved unencrypted or with no metatdata.
The only thing Signal saves (which is proofed by a law case afaik) is the phone number and the account creation date.
I don’t think it’s odd. They can use data, that they already have and make us of it.
Answering a question with a question 😂
Skiff uses discord, so… idk what I think of that, they also lack support for pgp and are in the us afaik
I’ve made the switch from relay to proton pass aliases. It’s great but with relay you can block spam which is not sth that you’ll get with proton pass
I tried it but the design just wasn’t mine. I switched to protonmail then and it’s a great value for the money. Vpn, password manager, files, mail, calender(, contacts)
Yes, 4,99€ per month when one pays by month.
Ok, so what is better with other apps and why shouldn’t one recommend signal over the apps people use (say Whatsapp, telegram)
