Also, please don’t anyone forget that the CEOs of these corporations were firing and replacing their workers in proportion to the amount of trust they gave LLMs. Do not forget.
12·2 days agoU.S. District Judge David Novak issued an order that bars “Ms. Halligan from representing herself as the United States Attorney in any pleading or otherwise before this Court until such time as she may lawfully hold the office either by Senate confirmation or appointment by this Court… should either occur.”
Attacking our own citizens, which they’re already doing, is the ultimate betrayal.

Alabama residents receive over $60 billion from the federal government—23% of all personal income.
These payments, known as transfer payments, include Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, veteran’s benefits, unemployment, Pell Grants, and others.* The report explains how an aging population and shrinking economic opportunities have shifted many communities into reliance on these transfer payments.
To put the $60 billion in perspective, Alabama’s four automakers generate $6.4 billion in total compensation, according to a report from Autos Drive America and the American International Automobile Dealers Association, as reported by al.com. That’s about one-tenth of the amount received from federal transfer payments.
In other words, a 10% reduction in these payments would have a similar economic effect on personal income as shuttering Alabama’s entire auto industry.

2·4 days agoThe corporations are the ones making you feel guilty, especially if the infrastructure isn’t there. That’s how they tried it (and won) in Seattle. They’re all like, build, build, build, and then covid hit. The transit takes hours if the person can’t afford to live in the city (see my bullet points). There are a lot of grey areas and people like you. The system is broken and they’re blaming the home owners who don’t want to live in a fucked up area. The CEOs don’t care because they’re money hoarders and living in gated communities somewhere.
It’s true that it’s doubtful that this stuff will get implemented if we continue the way we are going. Most people don’t know about these issues and talking about it gets this info out there. The propaganda coming from the corporate landlords is heavy and strong. I’m surprised this isn’t getting trolled heavily tbh. Not sure why it isn’t.
Things to continue talking about and what I don’t think people realize, know, or understand how bad it is:
- Price fixing is a huge problem in rentals. They have website services that help the landlords do this.
- Corporate landlords hold empty homes and apartments vacant until they can get the prices they want rather than lower the price. This is why that trickle down housing shit doesn’t work.
- Corporations buy up all cheap housing so downturns in markets are only good for them too. See the first 2 bullet points.
- The push for more housing means that there are more luxury apartments, not homes for who need them. They’ll say that homes will be available when they get shitty over the years. See above bullet points and even if that were true, would take 30 years anyway.
Go after the corporate landlords and corporate airbnb shit first, then go after the nimbys. The nimbys are the distraction and pits the neighbors against the 15 minute city types instead of the corporations that are making fucking bank.

Edit: That has to be in conjunction with them not being able to have airbnbs though too. Cuz that’s just a hotel.

- Crack down on price fixing
- Don’t let corporations run AirBNBs or similar
- Don’t let corporations own any rental building under approximately 10 units.
- Don’t let rental buildings have more than a low percentage of empty units for turn around. They have to lower the rent then. If it goes to $200/month, then so be it.
There are so many things to try, but Trickle Down Housing never works.
I agree. I searched for an answer on that around that time, but I don’t think anyone is reporting on it if there is even anything happening. The media is not on our side.

They’ve used a fake Melania before. This person is 20 years younger even at the time and the real Melania would have beat the shit out of him if he did that to her.

The mom and pop landlords aren’t the problem. Corporate landlords who buy up fucking buttloads of housing are the problem.
