There was definitely some force applied by the offensive player with the off arm, but I’m not surprised the refs called this a flopping tech given the Secondary Theatrical Exaggerated Movement criteria, which this seems to meet all of since the Trent Jr. stumbles backwards while doing a windmill.

As to why the refs aren’t calling this tech more, I don’t know. There is a lot of uncalled flopping.
