Per the news story. The IDF provided leaflets mapping out safe zones. Hamas should have provided these to it’s people and provided safe passage.

I find this comment to be antisemitic and unhelpful.
One would hope that their chosen government would help find them safe passage.
This seems shortsighted and provides no actionable value.
Yeah. The terrorists are pathetic, hiding in schools, hospitals, and family homes.
They didn’t heed the updated maps. The situation is fluid since the terrorists are hiding in and under the civilization population.
Not only that, but imagine the harm that can be done if killer drone swarms get into the hands of bad people, such as terrorists.
Exploding rockets is totally common in rocket science. In fact, their mission objective wasn’t even for the rocket to succeed at making it to space. When you put millions of pounds of fuel into a tube and heat it up, there is a lot to take into account. No one has ever launched anything this big, so they are going to have to iterate quite a few times. Even the computer models can’t catch everything. Sometimes it is as stupid as a bad part manufacturer.
It’s a really good movie. You should totally watch it.
Unions can be good as long as there are ground rules to protect the interests of both the company and the employees. Unions can become just as corrupt as companies can. They are just another form of association. In the same way companies are not allowed to monopolize and collude, unions also need to be kept in check, so that they don’t destroy the capitalist system.
Yes, but I really do write like that. CGPT just saves me a ridiculous amount of time explaining things.
True. This happens a lot at my company. The consultants just ask us what we think and that becomes the report.
Being a social liberal and a fiscal conservative involves specific stances on two different aspects of governance. Social liberalism emphasizes individual rights, equality, and social justice, often advocating for policies like marriage equality, abortion rights, and anti-discrimination laws. It’s about how society should be organized and how individuals should be treated within it.
Fiscal conservatism, on the other hand, focuses on economic policy. It advocates for reduced government spending, lower taxes, and minimal government debt. This approach is about how the government manages its finances, aiming for efficiency and reduced intervention in the economy.
Libertarianism, while it can share some aspects of both social liberalism and fiscal conservatism, is a broader political philosophy. It emphasizes individual liberty as its core principle, advocating for minimal government intervention in both personal lives and the economy. This includes a strong emphasis on free markets, personal freedom, and limited government across all aspects of life.
So, while there are overlaps, especially in terms of economic policy with fiscal conservatism, libertarianism as a philosophy extends beyond just economic or social issues. It’s a comprehensive worldview about the role of government and individual freedom, whereas being a social liberal and a fiscal conservative usually refers to specific policy preferences within the existing political system.
I believe in appropriate regulation of the free market to prevent monopolies and improper collusion, however it is not fair to criticize companies in a vacuum for how quickly they cover employee overhead costs, because that is just one line item on their budget. The point being made by the author is that the company may have more money to give, but that is shortsighted framing of the issue to blame companies without understanding the economics of their business.
I came here to tear this apart as being liberal propaganda, but was pleasantly surprised that others already took care of it. I am liberal, but not when it comes to economics. You can’t go throwing around numbers when you don’t understand how the economy operates and businesses function in general.
Thanks. I appreciate the positive vibes.
What a witty remark? I have an MBA and am more qualified to talk about socioeconomic circumstances than most. I’m done though with allowing people to play the systemic oppression card. At some point, people need to work on improving their culture from anti-education and anti-work to pro-education and driven. Black people want to make it all about their oppression, but my people went through the same bullshit including a holocaust and came here with nothing. They weren’t allowed in anyone’s clubs and were barred from many neighborhoods, but we valued education and hard work.
Ever hear of public primary and high school. It’s free. You just need to make the kids show up so that they don’t end up being criminals.
LOL
