The Zenith Defy series have these fantastically complicated ‘tick’ I think of them dials. All those little lines in different directions and hands fighting with the complications of the movement showing through on this one.
This watch line caught my eye before, but I saw the Ultraviolet model which dugs really hard at my pocketbook… and honestly, I think is a good bit more constrasty than the black black/steel theme of that one.

I think this is a watch if you know you know - because it has that unusual attachment pattern for the lugs. But not the central pattern like the Cartier and some of the Bulgari ones do, it attaches to the case at that narrow point then spreads to provide a full lug attach for a conventional band. Most watches don’t have that narrowing and spacing between the case of the watch and the band attachment, they’re more integrated with each other.
That said, *I* don’t know what it is - I just recognize it as a quite unusual design configuration.
