A huge problem is the incredibly low bar to receive a driving license. Read a booklet, pass a paper test that barely mentions non-autos, and maybe take a basic practical exam. And there are many ways around the practical exam portion.

My fam and I are all O. Like you, they don’t like me. They’ll go for anyone else. I also find that they will land on me and not try to bite - or if they do, they don’t put in a lot of effort and don’t pierce the skin. Even if they do bite, my skin doesn’t appear to react and they seem to quit quickly.
Meanwhile, my poor spouse and kid are delicious. And they have soft, sensitive skin. It’s ok, I always remember the repellent just for them.

This really upsets me. My preferred format has always been the mass market paperback. I can often fit them in a back pocket or cargo pocket, they fit better in my backpack, and they’re easier to hold in positions with one hand. They’re simply the superior format. I know they probably don’t look cool on coffee tables or whatever, but they also use less surface area on coffee tables. I hate floppy coffee table sized paperback books.
It’s fine, though, because most of what I read is old shit. I can keep buying my used mass market paperbacks. By the time the last ones disappear, I’ll probably be dead.

Trump cancelled the federal grant for this program, so it might falter in upcoming years.

And if their percentage was unreasonably high, their competitors would sell at lower prices. Strangely, they don’t. Which tells us that Tim’s complaints are nothing but bullshit.

Contrary to fact hypothesizing.

All of the AI tools know how to make CP somehow - probably because their creators fed it to them.
The term prediction markets is a way to brand away from the stigma and the social harms of gambling.
But it’s the same.

Tuvix’s death makes the entire series A+. If Janeway had a choice between keeping Tuvix alive and getting home immediately, or killing Tuvix and having to slog through the entire Delta quadrant, then clearly the latter is the superior choice.

By the time they unfreeze it, Trump will give them reason to freeze it again. Make a deal with a bad faith party, expect them to demand more every time.
I struggle to consider it scientific because it bakes in so many fundamental assumptions without questioning them. At least mainstream economics.

Amsterdam is banning fat tire ebikes (that are really just low profile electric motorcycles). If there’s 1 thing that breaks the rules, ban it. I expect the rest of the Netherlands to follow suit because everyone here is complaining about them.
From King Crimson’s first album:

Why not Amsterdam and Copenhagen, if the goal is peak design? Paris is…not.

The only reason this would ever be necessary is because ebikes (and bikes) have to interact with cars in dangerous spaces. Instead of punishing people who are reducing traffic by cycling, they should be building safer spaces to do so.

Evidence isn’t necessary when the law doesn’t matter
