I loved webrings!! I spent too much time on a Star Wars one. Learned how to meditate, but couldn’t quite lift a pencil with my mind. Also learned way too many Ewok and Wookie family lineages that still take up too much space in my brain.

Reading the Thrawn Trilogy now. Almost done with the 2nd book, so good. Can’t believe I didn’t read it when it first came out.

Definitely ask for how they are using it. I know a number of physicians that are just using it as a dictation software to quickly make a first draft for their paperwork, helps lighten a big load.

Channel surfing one of these…
I was obsessed with Faces a wee bit back in the day 😁

Not A website, but in the early modem days there used to be these things called web rings. When you were done going through one site (usually just a few short pages or a short story kind of deal back then), you clicked the ‘next’ button and it brought you to another random, related (usually) website. My favorite web ring was the Star Wars ring. Learned a lot of expanded universe stuff, and random fan fiction. There was one site it brought me to that told me how to use the force…still trying to make my beer come to my hand :-)

Piano wire hammer/striker…can’t remember the technical term.

Over the last few years I did some stretches of a lot of 90’s and early 2000’s sitcoms.
In regards to the ones I now cant stand: Home Improvement, Everybody Loves Raymond and King of Queens tops my list. I adored those shows growing up, now I wouldnt watch bored flicking through the channels.
Was very surprised how much I ended up loving some I hated growing up. Seinfield, 3rd Rock from the Sun, and Frasier, just to name a few.

Frost River. They can be a bit heavy, but are lifers. They typically make portaging packs, but their daily bags are made just as durable.
I will say I used to get quite emotional more often playing good story driven games compared to now. Whether that’s because of the inferred change, or I’ve become more cynical and dead inside…who knows (I suspect the latter).
