Speed Dreams@lemmy.mlOPto Linux Gaming@lemmy.ml•Speed Dreams 2.4.1 Flatpak package now availableEnglish2·1 month agoNote that if you use Wayland you must use OSGgraph (Options --> OpenGL -->Graphic Engine). The problem is that Wayland is not compatible with our previous graphics engine, SSGgrpah , based on pLib. With Xorg there should be no problems.

Speed Dreams@lemmy.mlOPto Linux Gaming@lemmy.ml•Speed Dreams 2.4.1 Release Party 🎉English3·1 month agoThere is the possibility of network multiplayer, but, despite being playable on LAN, it is disabled as it is very experimental and has a lot of lag and bugs over the internet. It can be played in real time split-screen using the old SSGgraph graphics engine and by putting two or more human players in a race. We hope in future versions to rework or rewrite the work done to allow online multiplayer.

Speed Dreams@lemmy.mlOPto Linux Gaming@lemmy.ml•SPEED DREAMS - It's happening, folks! 🎉English1·5 months agoOmg ya, the beach buggy the tuktuk and a car I converted the slambo, haha I’m sure it felt longer then 11 year since I released them.
Was using a mix of inventor and ac3d to model back then.
Right now modders usually use blender with the plugin to import/export to .ac . Of course AC3D is still a good tool for modelling for SD. https://github.com/NikolaiVChr/Blender-AC3D/tree/4.1

It is very likely that in the next release OpenSceneGraph will be the default graphics engine to avoid these problems.
