As an office worker I sometimes wonder if welding would have been a better path. Honestly don’t know. Depends on the person.
He sort of did that to his own father with the family business.
Do we still say username checks out?
I’ve always been able to vote within 10 min or less. Must vary a lot by location.
They assert that how people bet, whether on the benign (who will be the next James Bond?) or the consequential (will Israel and Hamas reach a cease-fire before the end of the year?), can help forecast the future. Because there’s money involved, the thinking goes, these prediction markets leverage the collective wisdom of what people actually think will occur, not what they hope will.
DJT stock ticker would like a word.
jk We all know the DJT stock is overvalued because of money laundering and selling access rather than “collective wisdom”.
Wasn’t speaking to your specific home value. I was adding to the point that every homeowner is not a millionaire.
If someone has a house worth $350,000 but they’ve only paid off $50,000 from the principal, then they aren’t worth $350,000. I’d argue they’re not even worth $300,000.
Miss a few payments, and they lose the house plus whatever payments they’d already made. That’s not personal wealth. We’re just living in the bank’s house until it’s paid off and the deed gets transferred.
Plus the bank owns any house with a mortgage. It’s not your house until it’s paid off. Can’t be a millionaire with $400,000 in assets and $375,000 in debt.
I’m down with MeidasTouch. What’s the cat for?
I don’t believe them either. Just saying that’s the lazy excuse they gave.
They say he was going off script for that part. But of course they would say that.

Start with Cleanup on Aisle 45 instead of the Breakfast Club.
Never realized it, but in hindsight it’s so obvious. Of course riding mowers are not common outside of the US.
Because the warmth from the sun feels wonderful on my skin. It’s energizing and uplifting.
That was my first thought when all this came out recently. Ma$e walked away while they were on top of the world. Now it makes sense why he would give up the money and fame. I always wondered before.
I saw a press conference where a lawyer said they had between 100 and 200+ individual civil cases coming. Not class action. Individual lawsuits. They said they were working through 3,000 reports and the 100+ cases they had so far were very solid cases.
My brain cannot process the physics in this picture. Is the tortilla levitating in some skewed reality? What is it sitting upon?? It appears to be hovering.
I 100% agree except why is it that “Democrats dropped the ball”?
Democrats aren’t voting for a fascist. Their politicians are not enabling a fascist. The Democratic voting base hasn’t been bamboozled by 30+ years of obvious propaganda pretending to be news.
Christians dropped the ball. Conservative immigrants dropped the ball. Legit news media dropped the ball. Large corporations and wealthy individuals dropped the ball… on purpose.
Democrats work on harm reduction because we don’t give them enough votes to make meaningful changes. A 1 or 2 vote margin isn’t enough to vote around the moles like Manchin and Sinema.
