This is just the latest of a barrage of instances whereupon justice does not compromise at all, regardless of circumstance or side, and moreso upholds the rights of the truly hapless, as well as those who continually campaign for humanity’s good, over those who campaign only for themselves and their ill-gotten wealth and power.

With how us humans, regardless of social standing, continue to develop our entire civilization, especially with our immediate surroundings, for the past several centuries, the rate at which we are doing so has been slowly speeding up with newfound technologies and measures, a side effect that of which has been slowly replacing the sweet, calming ambience of nature itself with the brutalist, artificial statis of urban life, without much regard to the creatures we are supposed to take care of and equally preserve for generations to come.
Truly, if we do not ever strive and make pushes towards a sort of a humane-ecological balance, alongside tackling greed as a major factor in this critical climate crisis, we might as well see the Earth’s natural resources go “Stand Still, Stay Silent”.

Modular synthesis, archiving, lost media, and most of all, rhythm game lore.

Recently tried out vivid/statis on PC (via my older sister’s (now my younger bro’s) laptop) since last week, even though I’m not that much of a rhythm game enthusiasts, speaking as a young adult keen on exploration and slow-paced music in video games.

For what it’s worth, it just feels and plays quite good, with only four keys to smash and hold note bars to (much like Stepmania and other related RGs, but with the addition of bumper bars), as well as a couple of modes and storyline beats to try and dive deep into, including the tough-as-nails, one-miss-and-you-fail Ultimate mode. And its palette of featured songs are a worthwhile mention, ranging from the slow-paced to the absolute hardcore banger type. And this week, I just scored my first FC on Luminaria (Opening 1), and witnessed the game’s first edition of their tournament DUALIZED ASCENSIA unfold, from start to finish. Reeked of adrenaline-fueled fun and competition.

That being said, playing through my way on this game deffo improved on my physical reflexes and typing speed quite a bit, even though I get grades lower than A on certain harder charts. I guess we will see if I can achieve my first V grade and complete Class 1 in Course Mode after a couple more rounds of practice and studying Youtube plays of some of those aforementioned charts.

Even I beforehand, before I took on my first day at college some months ago, realized how crapsack (for lack of a better term) the world actually is, especially for neurodivergent young adults like me, and how many others in my age range would rather go hikokomori and focus on doing their own creative thing rather than serve the uninspired and haughty. Some deal with unbridled anger, others with anguish, others with keeping a false positive façade, while others try to keep it neutral and normal under the hood…

Maybe that’s why one of my recent favorite tracks nowadays comes from the OMORI OST, that being “It Means Everything”. Alongside Derivakat’s newest EP yet, they convey what it means to be both confused and so distraught with anger from all the hardships we face in our later teenage stage of life, including the ever-increasing “I-don’t-care-about-everything-anymore” attitude prevalent amongst teenagers and YAs, especially with troubled childhoods and broken friendships.

And Sweater Month too? How delightfully festive of a side hobby, regardless of climate location.

I also have tried this rather minimalist jotting site called thoughts.page a while back. Moreso a personal repository of rambling, quick thoughts than one alike Tumblr or Cohost, yet it’s generally seamless, most of the time.

Probably Omori, although I haven’t gotten to two of four endings just yet. Its vibes naturally resonated with me over time, even at its darkest moments.

May I suggest: Feng Shui (2004) and The Road (2008)? Both come from the Philippines, and are generally considered to be modern local horror classics in here.
