damn this sounds freaking incredible once i messed with it a bit… wowee thanks a lot of linking.
Interesting, the only local audio shop near me specializes in tube amps and home audio, they stopped carrying headphones before i got a chance to demo the Audeze which is why it took so long to become mine haha.
Maybe I’ll take them down there after the holidays and shop around.
Heyyyy very helpful thank you! I am going to look into it, when I do go to EQ profiles it’s always Oratory1990 profiles as a starter.
I definitely am planning my next amp/dac situation, as i feel like I could be getting more from these but I’ve seen differing opinions on tune amps and planars.
If I mainly use one area for my music listening at home, what does Roon bring to the table? I was waiting until I had a whole house audio setup to start messing with it.
I had a string of Amazon incidents leading up to a driver opening my packages, so they comped the cost of the Red: Zero.
not as big of a deal obv but my recent B-Stock LCD-2C purchase that pretty much looks like it was worn once lol.
lol mine does the saaaaaame…
i just started with Qobuz about a month ago and have switched to that being my primary streaming service. I will be using both though, Spotify for discovery and sharing with people and Qobuz for serious listening.
Thank you, I am! I am also in love with them right out of the box.
thicc lads

The LCD-2C with case. I got to demo it awhile back, they are indeed thicc cans but I have an eye dr appointment today to go get some thinner framed glasses bahaha.
lifting my body weight by my ears every morning in prep for my Black Friday order to arrive
Edit - on a serious note, i have been wondering the same, especially since i have glasses. lol.
Easy, ditch Apple if you have Windows and sign up for Qobuz.
I snagged an LCD2C. Thanks for posting OP, merry Christmas to me.
Pick a sound signature, pick 2 or 3 with a good return policy, test em out. A LOT of these IEMs sound similar, you really cannot go wrong with just picking a few you hear are good and deciding for yourself.
A lot of cables that are normally too expensive and are the correct price this week.
Huge bummer to hear. What are you comparing them to? Possible you just aren’t used to them yet?
Edit - my brain skipped over the “since Monday” part, ignore the last question lol.

That KOAN Sound album is one of my new favorites, just fuckin incredible front to back. Everyone with good headphones needs to check that out.
this is the correct answer, your bluetooth probably has a better amp/dac circuit than your phone does. a dongle would be a better comparison point than straight to the phone.
