I’m glad someone else had this thought!
So I bought it knowing I had to make an account. I knew I was caving to a shitty requirement. Before you even get to a main menu the game unceremoniously launches your browser while sitting at a black screen. On your browser you are expected to sign into your Playstation® Account. I tried. I tried and tried. An error kept popping up stating “can’t connect to server.”
In that moment I decided on a refund. You want me to sign into an account for a single player game? Fine. I caved and I did, but their servers weren’t ready for a re-launch of a huge game to service a restriction Sony placed on themselves.
I’ll buy it again when there is a mod to remove the account requirement.
I really like Stallone but holy hell, yawn. Next year he’ll have a Rambo prequel. Wake me up when when we get the “Stop or My Mom Will Shoot” soft reboot.
Nice way to combat bad reviews, start with an insult.
It’s great, IMHO. It really nails that feeling of impending doom. I love how the mystery unfolds and all the little breadcrumbs left for you to pick up on.
The acting is great. I actually think this is one of Johnny Depp’s last great roles before he got too big. He’s weird and quirky in a way that works for me.
Also the soundtrack is great. I just picked it up on vinyl because I like it so much.
Hell yeah. I love Dance with the Dead!
I freaking love Dance With the Dead. I’ve seen them perform a couple of times now and they are super nice and put on a great show.
Can’t wait to see them again.
Ha, I’m actually wearing one of their shirts today.
What happened to them? They were sued? I miss x-fire too.
Sadly it’s a pay walled article.
Have an SD card slot too and that will be really cool.
Yeah, I tried it and I wanted more out of it but sadly, it didn’t click for me. I’ll try it again on deck maybe.
I’m so down for this game, it looks weird and fun.
I’m doing my part.
This was a very interesting game. I didn’t feel exactly satisfied at the end of the game but I almost feel like that’s the point. I’m always down for weird experimental stuff in games even if they aren’t 100% my thing. I’ll still remember those weird games that test the boundaries more than most of the standard AAA slop.
I wish this developer well and can’t wait to see what they do in the future.
