Portland has OK transit but it does take much longer than a car for most journeys. I’ve used it almost exclusively for the past 2.5 years and I’ve only had a few times where I couldn’t get close to my destination using it.

It’s hard. Can’t say I have the same experience but where I live influences my experience a lot I think. I cut off a bunch of family because they weren’t willing to accept who I am. Finding connection with other queer folk helps me. If you have the chance, it might help you too.

It’s not the getting of women that’s the problem. It’s that due to circumstances and bad habits/poor boundary policing, I almost always end up supporting them.
