Wait so for the folks that didn’t care about the pool, their dues went up 3.5x so far, soon to be 4.5x, for something they didn’t want or use, and you’re surprised they’re not paying? That’s some entitlement right there…

Dang. You got ‘em.
Can confirm, the 30th was a Friday for me
I started a Pathfinder game because I wanted to get away from D&D, and because two friends really got into Dimension20 stuff and wanted to give RPGs a try. I was digging the rules a lot but they’re watching 6-8 hours of D&D content a week and playing PF2E every couple of weeks, and it was just a huge disconnect for them. With Abomination Vaults getting a 5e release, it just seems easier to make the switch back to something my players are more comfortable with.
Now to convince my cousin he wants to run a PF2E game so I can get that bard life going.
It doesn’t have gif searching though which is so annoying.
Haha okay
You….want them to be able to sell out in the future?
Could be, could be. This is just anecdotal on my part where I’ve helped people get up to speed and they’ve told me they basically never used a computer growing up. Maybe they don’t count Chromebooks as part of that group, dunno.
I work in tech at a credit union and we’ve hit a weird full circle point where the new folks entering the job market need a lot of training on using a computer for this reason. It’s been very bizarre being back at a point where I have to explain things like how to right click because a lot of people have grown up only using phone/tablets.
Are they? I got a 3% ‘raise’ again this year and that doesn’t seem like it’s keeping up with inflation. And yes yes get a different job, blah blah.
Whelp, this decided my evening plans for me!
We had a 3 and even though Musk was already an asshole idiot, we ended up swapping it out for a Y instead of another EV because the network is leaps and bounds ahead of everyone else. If they screw this up + keep opening it up to other manufacturers (which they should, that’s a good thing) I don’t see anyone our next cars being a Tesla.
So I have 18 seedlings right now and was going to get another six, so I could have 12 in each mini-plot. Do you think it would be better to move the first plot around a bit and have two sets of 3x3?
Awesome, thank you for that tip! Would be a huge bummer to make it so far only to find out worms feasted and not me
I’ll have to read up on that! Do you just kind of coat the tassels with it?
Oh hmm, the insert said 8-12" inches apart and with the 4x3 setup it should be 8" for the columns and 12" for the rows. I’ll have to see how these go and can always adjust for next year!
Double Standard hybrid sweet corn! Supposed to be tasty and have a nice yellow and white mix of kernels. And I’m in the 9b zone it looks like now (just changed last year I believe)
I’m going to set up a second 4’x4’ next to this one and that hopefully helps, but yeah sounds like I’ll need to help my plants make out
Our house is pretty windy but it runs perpendicular to that fence behind the corn, so I’m really hoping that acts as enough of a wind break! If not then maybe next year I take over more of the front yard haha
It sounds like they moved into a neighborhood with an HOA that had an opt in pool and a two tier fee based on usage, and y’all changed that after the fact and are holding the smaller percent who don’t care about the pool hostage. This is part of why no one likes HOAs.
Prior to the pool retrofit could folks still move in and choose whether or not to pay for/use the pool?
