I’m guessing it’s because it’s a week after 3rd party apps shut down. A lot will change when that happens, and the 7th is far enough from the 30th to feel it.

I’m on Android, and I’m trying liftoff, jerboa, connect, and the Lemmy app. I liked jerboa the best, but I can’t say how it’s latest update is until world updates its server to 18.1. Really liking Liftoff, but I do use the Lemmy app for certain things that aren’t added to the others yet. I’ll keep using them all for awhile, until things settle down and the devs have a chance to catch up.

Jerboa for Lemmy isn’t bad, and it already has more features than it did when I joined a week ago, so I think it’ll keep improving. I also know that at least a few refugees have posted that they’re working on apps for Lemmy, too, and basing them on their preferred 3rd party app for Reddit. There won’t be a lack of good options for Lemmy apps.
