Last one of these for the summer.

No idea if it’s any good but out of the ones we’ve randomly seen, there was only one we didn’t enjoy. Genre doesn’t really matter to us, and free is free ¯\(ツ)/¯

Yep that’s the downside, I know fuckall about Linux relatively speaking, so I was lucky CachyOS just ran it and my wired controller got recognized.

You could already run the firmware updater with Proton/Wine though? At least I didn’t have an issue with that, but its obviously not helpful to everyone considering the many flavours of linux. Nice that they recognize and are at least trying to address the issue though
Is there any real source for these? That article link does not exist

FWIW thanks to your comment my view of those two pairs is now the same; one is advertised (touristy?, free shuttle from Canada place anyone?) and the other is something you have to stumble upon and enjoy (hiking for when it came to Lynn Canyon bridge, or in this case scrolling Lemmy)

Must be very recent if so, did it that way in TarTube about a month ago or less and worked fine

Knuckleheads (I’ll have to link it because it’s too vague and other garbage shows up in search these days https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCu8t9UfJcTxlnMyu9uBcbTQ ) watch it every so often when we don’t know what to watch and want something “light” and short.
I have however DLed all the episodes already, as I was concerned it may end up getting removed since Google is doing stupid shit.

In NA or somewhere else?

And AFAIK you can’t just get a job at Costco anymore (unless it’s something very specific that requires certain education /skill?), you have to work 1-2 years as contractor and hope to get an offer.
If you know what’s worth getting and what isn’t at Costco, membership is still a good deal and if you know your spend, even just 3k a year, it’s worth being executive member over regular, as you get it back (60+) in cashback, but they are enshittifying at breakneck speed.
Mmmmm nice slice of sourdough with duck fat (goose fat may also do, but duck is better) and onions with a pinch of salt 🤤

Being good at some computer games (not just flight simulators) is helpful in getting through the recruitment process. I’d say a mix of having good orientation and implementing and executing a strategy is required at the very least (and sticking to it, which I didn’t do lol), which you definitely get/practice in games.
However the actual training process can cut those numbers dramatically, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they ignored obvious red flags with some of these ‘gamers’ just to pump those numbers up.

Well oligopoly in the market, but I guess you can …umm…turn that 10k into profit iykwim

Let me guess, repeat offenders bit is there to ensure genuine protesters (not some asswipe convoyturds) get to never protest again after being arrested a few times.

Meh suggestions, find a farmland nearby where you live and see if there are any rivers with dykes and go for a stroll there. The parking along them isn’t usually too big though.
As an example you can lookup Harris road bridge or Neaves road in Pitt Meadows on the map as there several spots along to go stargazing/observe meteor shower.
Word of warning, I am not sure how much I can recommend those two specifically anymore as they did get very busy last summer during peak…unless you come out before nautical/astronomical twilight.
Holy shit that first example… CSIS is full of idiots… I guess no surprise there. Waaahh we need to track people… but let’s make random private company do the tracking cuz that’s a brilliant idea.
