I like to clip the Qudelix to the headband of headphones. You’ll have to find a way to attach it to the headband. A short cable will suit your needs for that. You can make a diy short cable if you can solder. You can even use the Meze cable to do it. Good luck and post your results!
To my knowledge, you don’t use wifi the way you think. You only use Bluetooth. What I can think of is buy a short cable that fits the Meze 99’s. Ali express has short cables at .5 meters. Then buy multiple Qudelix 5k’s to hook up to the short cable and there’s your hotswap capability. Or you can use the regular cable and put the Qudelix in your pocket. For longer battery life you can get something like the ifi xcan. Or maybe you’re really good at diy and can do something with a tiny version of raspberry pi. Then you plug into that and then you would get wifi going to the raspberry pi.

The Ananda before the nano had the best stock tuning that I’ve heard. My uncle got me the nano because I loved his stealth. I was very very happy and also disappointed that the tuning was not as good.
More than motherboard out. Unless MacBook m1 or later.
Just copied from Google: A common rule of thumb is that the output impedance should not exceed 1/8th of the nominal impedance of the headphones. So, for 300 Ohm headphones, you’d want no more than 37.5 Ohms output impedance; for 16 Ohm headphones, no more than 2.
Try to look for the Earstudio ES100. It’s similar and good enough for the brand Spirit Torino to sell with their headphones. If not available, maybe we can work out a deal for my Qudelix.
