3·3 months ago21 states plus DC require permits. You carry in public without a permit? Criminal charges.
I tried one at a brewery once, it had a creamy white dill sauce, pickles and mozzarella. It tasted really good, but what really made it was the dill dough.

6·5 months agoI have a wemo plug and with how flaky the thing has been the last few months, I assumed it was deprecated a long time ago.

3·6 months agoThe gas station I prefer has a mute button labeled on the pumps. Their ads are also less annoying because it’s mostly just promos for stuff in store.

Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•My password is not accepted because it is too longEnglish
8·7 months agoWhen I banked with wells fucking fargo they had issues similar to this. I had something like a 16 character password and I once forgot the last character and it accepted it anyway, so there was some kind of character limit that they didn’t make obvious.
I also had a time I accidentally had caps lock on, and my password still was accepted. Their passwords were not case sensitive even though their password screen says they were.

Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•I'm a 6'1" man with size 3 feet which means every time they measure my feet at a shoe store, the Brannock device tells me I'm not a man English
1·8 months agoThat’s why I’ve worn nothing but New Balance for a decade or more. Also the fact that I’m a suburban dad.

4·8 months agoI have size 14 shoes. I also have a large head, large hands, and a large gut. Unfortunately I also don’t have any large parts beyond that list.

19·8 months agoI’m on the opposite end as OP, I wear size 14. They are very hard to find since most manufacturers and shoe stores only go up to 13, and a lot of the ones that go to higher have a very limited selection in larger sizes. I would imagine it’s similar at the lower end of shoe sizes.
Whenever I see cars/trucks with gun stickers on the back, I assume they are rolling loot drops. Ain’t no way I’m advertising what guns I have. Also not leaving my guns unattended anywhere. I spent too much on that shit to leave it out for somebody else to take.

Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•Chipotle offering a discount, while warning they may also inflate prices and delivery fees simultaneouslyEnglish
7·9 months agoI don’t go to Chipotle when I want Mexican food. I go to Chipotle if I want something quick and vaguely Mexican-ish. Just like people don’t go to McDonald’s or Burger King looking for a good burger.

Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•"You should probably just throw it away"English
2·9 months agoI use power query and so far haven’t found a replacement that works in Linux. Otherwise I would drop MS office altogether.

It already sort of happens. For a while, a couple podcasts I used to listen to went behind a paywall as Spotify exclusives. I guess I don’t know for sure if they required a Spotify subscription, but since I didn’t want to install an app just to listen to two or three podcasts, it might as well have been a paywall.
