Like your style! The 1963 is in my collection and the Timex 3-zone, Seiko 5, Useless Afternoon, compressors in general, and the Khaki Field Expedition have all caught my attention. That’s a dope Citizen, too, got to hang onto that one forever.
The one that seems the most out of place is the Timex Weekender. You already have two white dials and the Hamilton is a field watch.
A blue traditional diver would be cool!
The Neptune wears thicker and heavier than the Hammy, but even though the lug2lug on it and the Hammy are both 47mm, the curves make it feel smaller. At least on the Khaki the issue is the lugs are too flat. Same reason you can only put a NATO on it. I’m good until 48mm. The Yema wears as my biggest watch.
Nice! Yeah, I’m probably 3-5 years away. Gotta fund those 529 accounts and everything inbetween first.
Oh wow. It’s hard to keep up with Glycine releases; their marketing is… not good. The GL0370 seems exactly the same as my GL0159. Any differences you know about besides the water resistance? Maybe someone out there gotta catch em all and will take the 159 off my hands so I can upgrade lol.
Curious what people have to say and want to talk about my watches.
It’s an Uncle Seiko Beads of Rice. I chose it aftermarket so it was what I wanted. Oyster is probably my favorite, but since I’m after a BB54 I wouldn’t want to duplicate. President belongs on a Speedmaster or DayDate, Jubilee on a DateJust, Beads of Rice on a…Seiko? Felt like it would be unique in the collection whatever direction I go. It gives the watch an “older man” vibe for sure. My business partner said he liked the watch, but not the bracelet. Beads of Rice is a different look, certainly.
