I’m working on Fediverser, which is a site to help people migrate from Reddit to Lemmy. One of the recently features added is that users can become “Community Ambassadors”: if you are a moderator on Reddit, or are interested in reaching out to people there and guide them through the migration process, this tool can help. It lets people send messages to users on Reddit with an invite link to an instance, and the redditor can get onboarded on Lemmy with their Reddit credentials. The whole “find an instance, apply for an account, figure out what communities are worth of subscribing” gets streamlined and reduced to a simple click.
