    Remember that time we had a carbon tax and it was one of the most effective carbon reduction policies ever? That lasted about 5 minutes before the mining companies banshee cry deafened us all and we got one of the most regressive and wasteful governments voted in who immediately repealed it amongst a lot of other shitfuckery. Great times.

      I remember very well. We also went from investing in fibre internet to calling the first female PM a witch.

      Sounds like a cautionary tale Canada should listen to. We have an election sort of coming up. I really don’t want to lose our carbon tax.
