Someone had to be first to break the silence so why not with this? Nothing better than a guitar with a story, and few things more beautiful than a Jazzmaster full stop. Picture taken from a story here.

To seed it primarily. A secondary goal of alien.top is to test functionality from Fediverser. Just a small number of communities are still mirroring the posts, but as soon as they started seeing regular organic content, I can disable it.

Okay, I guess that sounds fine. I’m not a huge fan of knowing posts are made by people who won’t see my replies, but I also understand the need to seed a community (most users are afraid/discouraged to submit posts into completely empty communities).

I hope you’re doing well with the project, it’s a very interesting one!

One of my goals is actually to build a two-way mirror, so that comments made here send a DM to the redditor. :)

I think we’ve talked about it before, yeah. Very interesting project, I hope all is going well for you!

              It’s all good, thank you!

Frankly, I just wish more Lemmy admins were willing to run the software, and more people to become Community Ambassadors. I feel like we need to start extending the long tail of interests to crack the chicken-and-egg issue that still makes so many people “caged” on Reddit.
