Vitor Pereira has travelled to the UK today to take over as Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach after agreeing a one-and-a-half-year deal.
Wolves have agreed a compensation package with Saudi club Al-Shabab for the 56-year-old to replace Gary O’Neil, who was sacked on Sunday after a run of just three Premier League wins in 26 games dating back to last season.
Pereira, who has managed a host of clubs including Porto, Fenerbache and Shanghai Port in China, is expected to be in charge for Sunday’s Premier League trip to Leicester City.
