Didn’t watch the game because I am not gonna be up all night for this, but just looking at the lineup and our apparently once again shoddy defense I am already back to being disillusioned with our national team again.
Why does Germany always have to play these weird and reckless tactics? Why can we not finally play a more pragmatic style of football like everyone else? And why do we couple this with a lineup without a proper striker AGAIN after this has failed every time for last several years under the previous coaches already? Why is Müller playing instead of Füllkrug rather than together with him? What for did we nominate Behrens if we are gonna play without a striker anway?

Flick also had a decent record when he started with the German NT. 1 win & 1 draw. I also see Nagelsman making the same mistakes over again.
