I’m watching the Knicks vs Wizards preseason game right now, and I’ve finally decided to ask a question that’s been on my mind for years. What does Evan Fournier do? What is he good at? I hardly ever see him make shots, his defense isn’t great, his court vision and IQ doesn’t pop out. Yet this guy makes more than the vet min and always seems to have teams interested in him. What gives?

He is the definition of a streaky shooter. He can make 7 threes in a row but he can also miss 10 in a row. He’s often not aggressive enough in the attacking and getting to the free throw line. So there are games where he disappears if defense is playing a certain way. But there are also games where he can drop 30.
His skill set is best suited for a number 1 option, but his talent level currently is of a 7th man
He looks better in FIBA because France lets him run the offense, but if he’s running your offense in the NBA you are screwed
