Our fans ripped Beal apart for his attitude and body language on the court, so I hope they’ll keep the same energy here. Hate shit like this so much.

You just hate Deni dawg I know you from the wizards sub. I’d be frustrated too if I get up 4 shots a game while JP chucks so many. Today it fell the next game we will both be frustrated just like Deni watching us lose while he shoots a deep pull up three 5 seconds into the offense

All he did was have his hands up to indicate he was open and hang his head, y’all are acting like he went full Draymond and was throwing air punches.

Honestly, that reaction alone would be enough for me to want the dude off the team. The wizards are rebuilding and need to protect their culture or it will easily be poisoned. Deni isnt good enough to justify this behavior so get him off the team before it spreads and you need to lose more talented players

You’re right, the wizards should get rid of any player that actually wants to play organized basketball and surround Poole with dudes that are content with just playing defense so he can chuck every time down the court

    PTSD.

    No wonder they trade Poole.

In a system that values ball movement and high value shots. Having a guy who just throws balls at the net isn’t worth it

people are trashing this guy, but this isn’t isolated, i doubt he’s acting like this because of a single missed pass.

if you’re playing with a point guard you are expected to get a pass every now and then. good point guards get other players involved, which always leads to the team playing better

I hate how no one seems to understand this. Having a point guard that doesn’t move the ball around usually means that the other players on the team will be ball stoppers when they get passed the ball. The ball movement for the Wizards is going to suck with Poole jacking up shots.

JP is playing the 2 guard and had 7/7 wizards points here before the shot goes in. Why is a 29 percent 3 point shooter mad that his teammate who is hot is taking a heat check instead of passing it to him at the 3 point line? JP had 9/9 of their points after this btw if you couldn’t hear the swish. Deni is literally mad his hot teammate took and made a shot that’s easy for him .

This is the truth right here. If Poole was 1-6 before this shot I totally understand the frustration.

I mean let’s not pretend he hadn’t bought into the system at one point and obviously was a contributer in the 2023 run…until he got punched in the face.

How conveniently that’s left out of the narrative now when people want to shit on Poole for not “buying in” to the Warriors system anymore after his team basically threw him under the bus multiple times PR wise.

      Lol come on now.

Poole was crying behind the scenes about not starting DURING the championship run. Curry had to come off the bench to start the Nugget series to make a point.

You are the one changing the narrative if you are pretending Poole was fully bought in until that incident tbh.

Poole was crying behind the scenes about not starting DURING the championship run.

No he didn’t, where is any proof of this happening. I followed the Warriors closely in that playoff run.

Curry came off the bench because JP was averaging 30 before the playoffs and he needed time to adjust. No one pouted when JP went back to the bench.

Only dude crying in that playoff run was Draymond going haywire when he got benched in Celtics game 4 because he was garbage

            a pertinent question would be

do you actually think dray would play ‘solo mid or feed’ ball the way poole did (and still possibly will in the future)?

at least from the outside, it’s always seemed like dray prioritizes

            1. winning
            2. money
            3. personal accolades

            whereas poole is flipped to

            1. personal accolades
            2. money
            3. winning

I was at that game, it was such a crazy sequence….no one in the arena knew why Steph got ejected, I had to live on the refresh reddit button to find out it was another mouthpiece chucking incident……and then Poole hit the game winning buzzer beater….then celebrated with Steph on the way to the locker room
