Per 36 stats are fine, and do a good job of telling you what a player’s impact looks like per minute they are on the floor. Just like per 100 possessions stats are good for telling you who averages the most points, rebounds, etc. each time up the floor. Nobody is saying they’re a be all end all stat, but they have their place.
