The Philadelphia 76ers win total was off the board yesterday at Pinnacle, but now the Thunder and Heat have also been taken off the board.

James Harden trade?

For what it’s worth, all of the win totals are still on the board on FanDuel Sportsbook and DraftKings Sportsbook.

Probably more like OKC gets a small asset and MIA’s 1st in ‘25 or ‘26 fully unprotected. Maybe Herro or Lowry plus Jaquez or Caleb Martin to PHI, MIA’s ‘25 first unprotected to OKC, Harden to MIA, and some smaller stuff to complete it out

lmao only an idiot would think that Miami would trade anything close to two first-round picks, Herro and Martin/Jaquez for an expiring Harden who can’t be extended

Just to make the math work salary wise it has to be one of Herro/Lowry. If Herro then it has to be Martin to make the money work. If it’s Lowry it could then be Martin or a combination of smaller salaries.

I’m certainly not suggesting it’s a 4-for-1, and unless 1sts are involved I’m not really sure why OKC is involved anyway. I can’t imagine they give up something so valuable and take Herro, and certainly not Lowry

I don’t think it’s Harden to OKC, but OKC getting the protections lifted from the Miami pick, and Harden going to Miami…with Dame punching the fucking air

Now I hope it happens just so I can see Mike Ryan’s (and the whole LeBatard show’s) reaction.

Never put harden and miami in the same sentence. He can go rot in Canada but we do NOT want him

Does thunder have $6-$7m in salary just to dump? Lowry is a little short on salary and we don’t have anyone except Martin in that range

An expiring Poku would fit the bill. He makes $5 million, and the salary matching doesn’t have to be exact.

Right, and this deal would basically come out to Harden for Lowry + Poku. Harden makes $35.6 million, and Lowry + Poku would equal $34.6 million. So it fits within that 10% window. Though I’m not sure if there’s anything in the new CBA that would apply to this trade, since I’m not very well versed in what changed.

I think Dame would be fine with the thought of James Harden letting Dame drop 30 a night and watching Jimmy Butler turn on another team.

I wouldn’t overthink it. Odds get temporarily taken off the board all the time for a variety of reasons.

Philly is likely off because it’s becoming clear that Harden may indeed make a shitshow of this season for the Sixers. I’d buy the Heat as a potential landing spot, but not the Thunder.

This 100%. It happens all the time. It doesn’t necessarily mean there’s some big move coming / rumored. Also, I highly doubt those teams were off the board everywhere. Melter just noticed it at a single sportsbook.

      Big Whoop.

Harden wouldn’t be going to OKC at all. He’d be going to Miami. OKC owns picks from both Philadelphia and Miami they can maneuver with to facilitate a deal. They obviously also have multiple other picks they can use to add to a pick haul and facilitate things in the Sixers direction who’ve been known to be seeking picks to re-route in another trade to move Harden.

Thunder also still have a little cap space left and they still have KPJ’s salary on their sheet they can use in a deal. It’s all something that can work. If JRich is seriously hurt the Heat would definitely have to start thinking about contingency plans.

Ehh well, maybe, maybe not but the thing is… ugh… OKC and Miami could both be angling possibly for erm. Something to happen… while they also might not be. So uh… no one really knows what’s happening in one or either or both of those franchises.

Eh sports books do this from time to time. OKC is a very popular team that is being betted, Miami is another team with very volatile lines, Philly as well. They’re likely just redoing the line
