Warriors were wrong drafting him and they were right trading him and I think it is safe to say that he is a massive bust like boy he is not good at at the game of basketball.

He was good on paper, too bad, it should have stayed there and thrown in the bin… he would have been a good fit for the warriors if he was even a quarter of his potential. An athletic young big who can protect the rim and stretch the floor both offensively and defensively. Such a waste.

He’s still super raw. He’s def a gamble type of player who will need time to put it together. His issue is will be if he can get it together upstairs cause he’s got all the tools to be a very good player.

It’s too early to call Wiseman a bust and he’s too young to be labeled one but he is officially on the clock, he is probably not going to have his 5th year option picked up and he is behind Bagley now in the backup C depth chart in Detroit. I would have him play more in the G-League but he now cannot be sent to the G-League without his permission.

Wiseman’s game is too mechanical at the moment and that’s what happens when you don’t play enough during your developmental years.

It is not too early to call him a bust the man was even terrible in G League. I mean if you can’t be decent in G League as a top 5 pick then what are you

If you watched last year the dubs tried to play him he would just near instantly tank the game. It got to the point where the starters were the best five man unit in the league and the team was well under .500

I hate to say it but the kid has huge iq problems in every important part of defense AND offense that he doesnt seem to grasp. He has the positioning skills of a toddler. Soft hands, cant finish anything that isnt two handed. Even softer screens, Ive never seen someone so big and broad be so afraid to put oomph into a screen. The only time he uses his frame is to setup on the low block, where he is one dimensional AND inefficient, which results in a clogged lane. He doesnt have a particular knack for boards on either end. Mediocre jumpshooter at best. My god the fouling was atrocious, for christ sake youre 7’2 w long arms just put them up in the air hibbert had a whole career off that. I really could go on for 10 minutes about this. I was really excited for his potential and have given him the benefit of the doubt long enough. I hear ppl say its because he was on the dubs but the inverse is true, the center has a very easy role in kerrs offense, not everyone needs to be looney. Its sad but the man is a legit bust.

He will get another contract because he will hit a turnaround fade, a 3, and dunk on someone like hes giannis every 5 games, but my god i have never seen someone so unable to grasp the game in my life

I wouldn’t be surprised if this is his last year (or whenever his contract expires) in the League.

I wonder if Klay’s dad is still saying that the Warriors will rue the day they traded Wiseman.

Has a “raw,” “athletic,” but unskilled C drafted in the lottery EVER lived up to their draft position?
