I remember being sure Acie Law and Chris Douglas-Roberts would be longtime nba contributors. Tbf they both got on with teams for awhile at least. Not one truly spectacular story, but this reminiscing is making me realize that simply by knowing about guys and having thoughts about them, I become considerably more wrong than I’d be if I just never even heard of them.
I still think Acie Law got fucked over by the Hawks coaching staff. They didn’t really develop anyone as well as they should have in the mid aughts.
