I understand that teams in these contracts are paying for future production, not past production. If I’m going to give you like $100M, I’d like to have some past production. Patrick Williams has done some stuff, but like that’s just… if that’s the number, if that ends up being true and the Vassell deal ends up being the comp that his agents go to, that’s a lot of cheese.

Williams has been, more or less, the exact same guy for 3 years. All he’s proven in the league is that he can be a 10/4/1/1/1 guy.
He’s a good shooter, but unless he proves he can be a #1 or #2 option, he’s not worth $20+ million a year.
