Imo Wemby is Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady in the same body. He feels like a quad double candidate. 4 other players have gotten one in history.

  1. David Robinson
  2. Hakeem Olajuwon
  3. Alvin Robertson
  4. Nate Thurmond

Wilt Chamberlain allegedly had a quintuple double, but the league didn’t record blocks and steals at the time.

It would have to be total luck.

Lets say he gets 10 points in 99% of his games. 10 assists in 30% of his games. 10 rebounds in 50% of his games. And 10 blocks in maybe 1% of his games.

The odds off all of that happening in the same game would be about 0.15%

Yeah, all those players were the face of their franchise and were basically expected to carry the team. And if you include Tim’s, who got his in a complete slugfest in the finals, you’ll realize it comes down to luck and circumstance. Shit the fact that Lebron never got one in Cavs 1.0 should show you how hard it is.

Add to that his career high in assists and blocks is 6, I’d be SHOCKED if he got 10 assists in 30% of games.

Honestly. They have retroactively taken away steals and rebounds quite a few times. They could credit Tim with 2 extra blocks if they wanted to and give him the official quadruple double

Dunno, Tim got his (before he got shafted) what 5-6 years in? I personally think it’ll take a while for him to get it since it doesn’t seem to be Pop’s style to coacharound that.
