I always struggled with the corner shots because I have less of a spacial reference with the side of the backboard facing me. Shooting from the top of the key should be much easier, no? I always had the most success with the 45 degree angle one, right between the key and the corner. Maybe that’s just me though.

    The more hidden answer is the amount you practice an almost identical angle on that shot. You might practice a ton of top of the key shots, but you may never take an exact top of the key in game.

    This. Unless you mark the floor and shoot from the same spot on non-corner spots, you are guessing how far away you are and you might overcompensate which reduces your accuracy.

    The corner 3 more or less looks the same no matter what court you play in.
