A good example why he’s been Defensive Player of the Year thrice in four years. Defense is his bread and butter.
I sometimes wonder how Steph really feels about Draymond at this point. I know they won titles together back in the day and Draymond was an important piece, but I do wonder if he has just grown to tolerate the guy instead of liking him. Idk.
My take on the whole thing is that if the age of consent is 16 in Australia and Oklahoma, fine, date a 16 year old if it really is consensual and all that, but just keep it out of public eye, because you KNOW the people will try to crucify you because of it. Don’t post pics on social media and just keep it private, because you’re just asking for a PR shitstorm.
Yeah, but the problem is, Draymond is a vital piece of the Warriors team and he was an integral part of each title. He’s the one that does the dirty work for them. And the NBA doesn’t want to jeopardise Steph’s potential success. They go hand in hand. Draymond plays, Steph has a shot to win more games. it’s that simple for them.
That is a rough stretch of games. Maybe they’ll beat the Pelicans or Heat.
People hate it when a player is overhyped by the media before he even does anything. Same thing happened with Zion and it’s the reason why Luka became so beloved, because the media paid very little attention to him in his rookie year, until he started playing like a veteran.
Wemby is the opposite. It’s not that he’s playing like shit, but by the media’s narrative and standards, he should be a borderline MVP candidate right now. I mean, that’s what people were saying after the draft, that he’ll be an MVP in his first few seasons.
Overhyped and now reality is sinking in.
Silver loves players to a fault and knows players playing means more business and more eyes on the games. Stern would have none of this. He’d be suspended for the remiander of the Playoffs after the Sabonis incident.
Former players probably aren’t fighting for a media spot. It’s not easy being on the panel multiple times a week for a few hours. So the number of players who would be good at it is probably very small. The Warriors are a beloved franchise, Draymond has always been a very loud person, some would say obnoxious, others say outspoken, but that’s what TNT is looking for. Someone who will bring in the viewers, even if they’re haters.
Lively didn’t play. He’s such an integral part of the team.
It’s not a 1v1 tournament. Team game. The Mavs are not a great team.
Celtics or the Suns. Nobody even had Dallas making the Playoffs to start the season so we have zero pressure. Luka is playing with house money.
They played one series and people treat it as a decade long rivalry.
You can root for the Dallas Mavericks, our superstar is from Slovenia, Luka Dončić, so you’re neighbours. We’re 10-5 right now, top 4 in the West, have a young rookie at center and things are looking up for the first time in years in that department.
But since they’re in the West, their games are usually at 2 in the morning or later for us (Also from Slovenia), unless it’s a Sunday game, in which case the game tends to be around 9:30 in the evening.
This is the correct answer right here.
Kawhi right clicked the file name ‘offense.exe’ and launched it as Admin.
Luka hitting 40% of his 3s.
If the allegations are true and she’s a minor, what do you think the next move from OKC will be? Try to sweep it under the rug like every other franchise when it comes to bad things players do until people forget about it?
If the allegations are true, his reputation will forever be “the guy who dated a minor”, no matter what else he accomplishes in his career, this will never go away. He’ll have torpedoed his entire NBA career.
I love it. The guys from 2000s always keep it absolutely real, specially KG. He doesn’t tolerate players like Poole.
Sadly the NBPA has too much power, not to mention the NBA would never go for something like that. They’re against anything that loses them money.
He’ll get one in Dallas when he wins a chip with Luka. ;)
