For me it’s Derrick Rose’s career if he hadn’t been injured. The youngest mvp in history with some of the most electric basketball we’ve ever seen, it feels a little like robbery to have not been able to see that unfold.

Exactly. Has anyone seen that page on RAPM for all players from 1997-2020 with double weighted playoff game impact. Sabonis rank 32nd all time of EVRRY player who played from 97-2022…what the holy hellish fuck!?

And his playstyle tells you why. Remember how Sabonis scorched Shaq cause Shaq could deal with his range. Also Sabonis weighed about 300 poubds and was able to bang with those bigs of the bigs in the paint. Despite the weight he was decently agile. Also he had good bball IQ. We could be looking at a guy who wheN HEwas younger coul xonsistenlty be voted as a top tenner in the league

What if Blazers traded Drexler and the 2nd pick in 84 to Houston for Sampson? As Hakeem said was on the table.

Hakeem Drexler and Jordan big three for their entire careers.

Biggest of the modern NBA is what if OKC doesn’t trade Harden. Everything we know about the league would change

Definitely would’ve been interesting to see a team draft a super team the way OKC could have. Every other super team has relied on free agency and trades.

1984 trade between the Rockets and Trailblazers for Clyde and the #2 pick for Sampson. Hakeem, MJ, Drexler.

    End thread.

They actually offered that according to Hakeem.

Sampson was seen as a star at the time, and Drexler was still just a young promising wing.

Sticking with Hakeem my biggest what if is what if Jordan didn’t retire the first time? Hakeem’s Rockets v Jordan’s Bulls is the greatest best of seven what if of all time imo

Curry doesn’t get injured in the 2016 playoffs so doesn’t have the worst playoff run of his prime, the Warriors win the title and he snags the best player in the league title. KD probably doesn’t come and we get to see epic even duels between a stacked OKC team, Warriors team, Spurs and the Cavs with Curry Durant Lebron and Kawhi all are their best

Curry proclaimed he was back well before the finals. A bigger what if would be what if Draymond didn’t get so many techs in the playoffs to be suspended or what if Bogut doesn’t get hurt in the Finals

D Rose and Penny are the two obvious ones. Another one I’ve always considered was if the Cavs didn’t take Bron for granted and traded JJ Hickson away for STAT

I wanna see what healthy Grant Hill and Tmac could accomplish in Orlando.

And I want to see if the 2018 Rockets win the series if CP3 never goes down.

Where would Bernard King rate if he didn’t get injured?

Youngsters read up on him. Underrated and would have been in top 20 discussion if he played 20 years later.

This is actually a interesting what if

What if the Cavs drafted Darko in 2003 and LeBron gets drafted by the Pistons.

Obviously there would be massive civil unrest in Cleveland and Darko would’ve been a bust regardless.

Meanwhile LeBron joins a team that just made the ECF with some great veterans. Now granted Larry Brown won’t start him rightaway which would affect his counting stats but he starts winning rings very early in his career. And I do believe the Pistons still trade for Rasheed.

BSOLZ a YouTuber made a video on something like this.

Darko probably still is a disappointment but not a full bust.

Not burying him on the bench and destroying his last shreds of interest in the game probably develops him into an at least solid player.

I know his work ethic/love for the game were low, but that Detroit team was the worst place to go with those concerns and only made it worse.
