For me it’s Derrick Rose’s career if he hadn’t been injured. The youngest mvp in history with some of the most electric basketball we’ve ever seen, it feels a little like robbery to have not been able to see that unfold.

      Honestly, without the Zaza stuff he probably still has a similar career, he was already injured in that game and even without Zaza his legs would still have the structural problems, it would probably just be a different catalyst.

      He probably would still have left SA, though possibly on better terms than the shit show that it ended up being. It might have changed nothing. the GSW were stacked and even if they win that game 1, it doesn’t mean they win the series. It could have played out almost exactly the same way it did.

      there are tons of conspiracy theories and nuance to that whole shit show that I am sick of thinking about so meh. Some fans seem to think a huge lead in game 1 means we would have won the series and it means nothing of the sort. It was a critical turning point, the injury, but you cannot assume changing history right there. GSW was fucking loaded.
