    He was basically unplayable in the playoffs even in his 20s, so a good team probably isn’t going to be that interested in him in the long run. Not that it makes a huge difference, but he’s hit the max in terms of accumulating years for minimum salary. Makes him a little more expensive than a lesser-known guy, and that might matter for teams at/in the tax.

    For bad teams with money, he probably isn’t all that appealing either, because why not give minutes to a young guy with upside rather than a 30 year old who is past his prime and has zero upside? Since 2019, he’s been on four teams, and it’s not like he has some great reputation as a guy everyone loves (just seems like he’s been a cocky, surly guy his whole NBA career), so you gotta imagine he’s not exactly seen as a role model in the locker room.

    Might make sense for a team with injuries to sign him in March. Doesn’t make any sense for him to be on a roster on opening night.
