The Gala madness was 50% fueled by the fans and the referee IMO, many questionable calls.
I’m most glad today when Sane is not on top form (still good but not top) the rest of the team weathered through 70 mins and pulled it off. Sane really could have ended it earlier with the Coman assist around '60.
Musiala/Daives/Laimer were overwhelmed and the most hurt by the ultra physical game but they all survived and earned the win.
I, too, wish Mueller would come on earlier to stabilize the situation but we had to do a ton of counter attack and quick break I can see why he wasn’t called.
Lastly big shout out to Lord Sarr!
