An offensive player leaning forward in anticipation of a pass should never have been grounds for offsides. The rule is absurd as it is currently interpreted.

You’re not going to see the feet when directly opposite very easily. I’m normally quite good with body, but seeing whose feet are further ahead. Fuck that. Feet are tiny across the other side of the pitch. The rules become the rules for everyone.
