Summary

Rep. Chuck Edwards faced a hostile crowd at a town hall in Asheville, North Carolina, as attendees bombarded him with jeers and tough questions about Trump administration policies.

The event, attended by 300 inside and over 1,000 protesters outside, grew heated over Trump’s trade policies, government cuts, and Ukraine aid.

Edwards defended Trump but acknowledged voter frustrations. He insisted the administration was on track, despite disruptions.

The town hall highlighted the political divide in western North Carolina, with Asheville’s liberal residents challenging Edwards on key issues.
