The UCMJ uses “firing on shipwrecked persons” as a specific example of an illegal order.
Firing on an operating crewed ship is, in a very, very broad sense, potentially justifiable. Firing on a disabled ship whose crew is not firing back is not.
Yeah, he’s got tons of boomer appeal. Took a while for me to get it through to my parents that he’s a complete fucking idiot. His antivax era was what finally convinced my parents to stop watching him.
Honestly though Maher is a consummate tool. And not a useful one.

The point being made is that while there are a lot of regional and district courts that are trying to stop things, due to literally half a century of conservatives stacking the judiciary with no real or meaningful pushback or counterplay by the opposition means that the system is quite thoroughly compromised and rife with structural fractures, on top of the fact that the highest court of appeal in the country is effectively bought and paid for.
Put like that, it’s pretty obvious that the US Judiciary is no longer meaningfully functional. And it’s definitely not fair or equitable, especially when a person or corporation with shitloads of money and power are involved.

Same, fam. Same. :(

Tbh that’s pretty based. Solid move, Costco.
But also, why are the the first large company to do this?

Legislators should get the exact same security measures that schoolchildren get. And I do mean the exact same.

Tbh those things are kind of a riot in war thunder - they scoot around pretty fast

Sounds like this may be what’s going on.
Also, I believe this will work with 10 as well as 11.

And that has between seleven and 14+eπi fingers

It’s pretty logical if you think about it. Control the flow of information and you largely control what and how a population thinks, and how public discourse is conducted. It’s a bloodless coup.
More succinctly: it’s technofascism

Genuine question: who bought this?
Good ol’ Debian. The Chuck Testa of distros.
Encarta was absolute fire back in the day, seriously

Amusingly, dictionary.com went the meta route here with regards to Oxford’s, going with “6 7”.

the next VC driven company…
With you so far
that focuses more on growth than profit
Ah - there’s your problem. VC companies simply don’t do that.

Could be supercritical CO2, actually
Not under this regime. And he’d surely be pardoned by orangeboi even if he was.
