When the top receivers in the league are talked about, AJ brown is often mentioned but not before Tyreek Hill or Justin Jefferson or jamarr chase (typically). What about their games sets them apart from or above AJ brown if anything?

Can someone that watches film here point to what aspects of browns game, if any, lack in comparison to the three aforementioned receivers.

Where do Davante Adams, cooper Kupp, and Stefon Diggs rank as well? We can all agree the 7 receivers mentioned are the top 7 in the league but there is usually a tier between 3-4 of them and the remaining.

I mean, obvious homer take, but AJ Brown is 100% playing like a top 2-3 receiver in the league this year. His stat line over the past 5 games is unreal and difficult/impossible to argue against.

Jefferson and Travis Kelce can have pretty boring highlights since a lot of their catches are wide open.

They are all finesse and makes the QBs life easy by getting open more than others. Both also have amazing catch radius.

Being a cowboys fan and actually watching brown play closely last year and this year so far, i have to say he’s top 2 as of now .

AJB Hasnt been putting up a 1900 yard pace for more than half a season. If he continues what he is doing he will be in that same tier.

The difference is both Jefferson and Hill have been flirting with 2000 yards. Chase has been a little less but hes like 22 yrs old, he certainly has the ability.

    The tiers for me are…

Jefferson & Hill - Quite clearly the two best

Chase & AJB - Have the talent to be in that top tier

Adams, Diggs, Kupp - the older guys who will never be that top tier again but are still awesome for a couple more yrs.

Tyreek is the best because the entire defense has to adjust to him in a way that’s unique to him as a WR. There’s never been a guy with his speed and agility and quickness that can run routes the way he does.

Jefferson is a great WR but if you give him a hard double you can limit his impact. For Tyreek he’s so fast that even a double might not be able to keep up so you basically have to play some sort of zone

I don’t think Chase in on the same level as JJ or Hill. Those two are in a category of their own
