Nice bounce back game for him after a forgettable opener. Is this a sign of things to come for him or will he have a stinker on Sunday?

AD’s inconsistent games are 18-9-2 while being the best defensive player in the game. However, expectations for him are Hakeem on defense and Kareem on offense.

So what? kristaps porzingis did this in his Celtic debut yesterday and nobody was making as big a deal as this. Hilarious because if it’s LA somehow it’s an incredible night.

Lol Gil’s arena called it. Back to the 8/5/3 next game. He’s consistently inconsistent

His inconsistent games are still all world defense but 18-9-2. Expectations to be Kareem every night.

There is a lack of elite big men on the Suns. AD playing well against them isn’t that big of a deal for now. Let’s wait until he faces other teams like the Sixers or Bucks.

Lol this is AD were talking about. The question has never been if he can go toe to toe with top competition. History has shown he can. Its his inconsistency between games.

Yeah. Exactly. The question is whether he can/will step up against other elite big men this year, or is he going to be inconsistent again and shrink against elite competition.

What I love were the aggressive seals we saw from him down low, he was really working to get open and force his defender on his hip and clear space for the finish. He was aggressive and he and Bron had good chemistry in the PnR. Lakers guards did a far better job involving him in the offense but AD has to be this aggressive game in and out.

He was awesome defensively and the Lakers don’t win without his effort on that end. AD is one of the biggest ceiling raisers this league has defensively.

Ye what people ignore is that its Jokic that shuts him down on both ends . AD is good but Jokic was always level(or two) above him.

After opener most people criticised AD instead for example praising Jokic great defense on him

AD is capable of being incredibly dominant, the problem is that he just doesn’t do it consistently. One game he’s crazy good and looks like a top 10 player in the league, then the next game he’s just no where to be found.

Still kind of disappeared in the end - think LeBron got on a roll and wanted to finish it out
