This game pretty much confirms my suspicions of this team heading into the season. The Lakers as currently constructed aren’t contenders, they’re fringe contenders as best. They’ll need to find a D’lo trade at some point to actually contend, but it isn’t urgent because this roster is good enough to win plenty of regular season games.

Also we’re really gonna miss Dennis this season.
