He had the first on Tuesday. Tonight he had 21-9-8. I think most records will be broken but I really don’t see his longevity being matched for decades. Dude is unreal

On 21st seasons
Dirk started 20 games and averaged 7 points on 36%
KG started 38 games and averaged 3 points
Willis played 5 games( started 0) averaged 2 points
Parish started 3 games and averaged 4 points
Vince Carter started 9 games and averaged 7 points
Lebron will probably average 21-25 points this season and it’s an absolute joke compared to what came before him
Let’s not forget Kareem here. At Lebron’s current age of 38 (obviously he could not enter the draft early back then) he averaged 23.4ppg and at age 41 in his 21st professional season he still racked up 10ppg
The age comparison is interesting, but LeBron’s age 38 season was last season when he averaged 28.9. If you want to compare age 37 seasons, LeBron averaged 30.3 to Kareem’s 22. What Kareem did was impressive, but it’s really nothing compared to what LeBron is doing at the same age. LeBron is also averaging more boards and almost double the assists while providing all that scoring production.
A shame that Kareem couldn’t have gone straight to the NBA from high school. He easily had the abilities to be able to do it even in that era.
Truly unbelievable.
Now do the math on what Kareem’s stats would’ve been if instead of doing 4 years in college, he went straight to the pros or went for only 1 year.
You can’t do that math because he didn’t do it. The fatigue of a college season is a lot less than the NBA.
Age plays a bigger role than fatigue.
Mileage plays a huge role.
Weird omission of Kareem who did similar
He played 20 seasons
